LAW 14/2013 ENTREPRENEURS
SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL PERSONNEL who carry out scientific research work, "technological development and innovation", in business entities or R&D&I centers established in Spain.
Regarding the visa for ENTREPRENEURS It is important to highlight two types:
- On the one hand, there will be those who present a BUSINESS PROJECT that will be developed in Spain and remain for a period of one year with the sole and main purpose of carrying out the previous procedures to develop the entrepreneurial activity
- And, on the other, those who UNDERTAKE a EXERCISE be of character INNOVATIVE with special economic interest for Spain.
For its assessment in both cases, it will attend to criteria such as the profile of the applicant, the business plan presented and/or the investment opportunities it offers.
Like the visas for property and real estate investors, the visa will be issued with a validity of one year. The holders of this visa will be able to access the situation of residence for entrepreneurs, together with the members of their family who have accompanied them, without the need to apply for a visa and without requiring a "minimum period of stay" in Spain, when justified. that the effective start of the business activity for which the visa was requested has taken place previously.
*IMPORTANT NOTE:
During the processing of the procedure, the Spanish consular missions or offices may require any other document they deem appropriate, in order to justify the resolution that puts an end to it.
Foreigners must maintain the conditions that gave them access to them during the validity of the visas or authorizations.
The competent bodies of the General State Administration may carry out the checks they deem appropriate to verify compliance with current legislation.
